Apocalypse+ 0.12

all guns added so far are civilian weapons and so they're semi auto except for the mp5 and thompson which are full auto.

I will take suggestions and ideas to add stuff to the mod, but I've got a vision for this mod and if an item doesnt fit I won't add it, also I'm trying to have slightly different conent than the other mods out there to have some orignality but certian items I have planned will be simliar to other mods (bows, crossbows, and some melee weapons hard to avoid having a few items in common). Please report any bugs you find, or post if you ahve any problems and I'll do my best to help you out.

currently works with Build 25/26 (steam version) and I will keep it updated to work with any future updates.

I didn't personally test out how well the distribution works, but I'm going to play it some tonight and change it if needed by tomorrow to get it working as planned.

**PLANNED FEATURES**

redo current icons as they are too dark (currently working on)

Bows/Xbows (currently working on)

lots of melee weapons (currently working on)

expand greatly on the crafting system

more guns (some general guns first then later on I'll add a bunch of Military guns)

backpacks/food items


New Weapons--

AR-10 = basically an AR-15 but it fires .308 instead of .223

Mini-14 = fires .223, smaller version of the famous M14, the mini is comparable to an AR-15,

Whinchester Model 88 = lever action rifle firing .308 rounds

Steyr Model SL = bolt action rifle firing .223 rounds

Colt .45 = fires .45, need I say more?

Thompson SMG "Tommy Gun" = fires .45, need I say more?

MP-5 = fires 9mm, need I say more?

Combat Knife = a kitchen knife that doesn't break for you knife loving people like myself



New Recipes--

Craft Nails = craft nails from a doorknob or hinge

Roll Joints = 28gr medical marijuana + rolling papers = 40 joints


Other--

Joints = made from Marijuana + Rolling Papers
Cocaine = pretty self explanatory

Love the idea of craftable nails!!! Might also recommend cooking pot and baking pan as nail creation resource(it's basically sheet metal right?). What tool do you need to craft nails? I would think a set of pliers or bolt cutters could make some improvised ones from various metal sources.

Also really looking forward to a silent ranged weapon for taking out those damnable crawlers.

The new weapons and joints also looks awesome, can't wait to try it out. Does it work with Steam Beta enabled?

Will you ever enable farming hemp plants for craftable flour, pain meds, rope or just salad greens?

techno, currently nails don't require any item other than 1 doorknob or 1 hinge to make, im going add lots of craftable weapons and a lot more crafting options as well as recipe items. I thought about make a smelting pot and propane burner, I haven't looked into it very much as im going to wait till I get more content realeased to do that but it is highly possible that will be added within a week or 2. Silenced weapons are also planned, though I doubt I'll make them as attachments as there is another mod that already has that and I'm trying to be as orginal as I can. About the hemp, I tried to do that and had 0 success and haven't looked at it again since then, but do plan on adding them as well if it's not in java code which I can't do anything with.

It works with the Steam version 2.9.9.17, I have the steam version and haven't testing with any of the other version yet but it works 100% with the lastest steam version if you install it properly.

hi there, awesome mod. was wondering if changing the loot rarity in sandbox effects your mods rarity? because i find the ammo and guns to be far too common and was wondering if it was possible to lower the drop chance.

I play in sandbox with loot on abundant and they are very common (not as i intended) it seems that .1 and .00001 have the same spawn rates, if I have to I can update the loot in a different way, I'll look into it tonight and find a solution.

NOTE: my reloading files should work with the Tommyguns mod, but his reloading files won't work with mine. We both have the same modified reloading files that Stormy did (bug fixes and such) but the codes for his weapon reloads are seperate, where as mine are included in the reloading lua. just a side note for any people that might have both mods, though I highly doubt both mods would work, you shouldn't need to copy and paste the reloading files multiple times if you want to swap mods.

hi. I am having trouble finding loot. I am unsure if the mod is working. though I can see it in the mods section, I have yet to find any guns provided by the mod. please help me. this mod looks great and I have yet to find a good gun mod that works

the steam one. i have the most updated version. i believe 2.9.9.17. if it matters, in the main menu it says "2.9.9.17(0001).

well it should be compatitable with that version, you're seeing the mod in the modmanager so you have it in the correct folder.
Make sure that you double-clicked the mod in the mod manager (will have a green check) and then you have to restart the game to load the mod. if you've done all of that im not quite sure wat the issue is unless its some random bug that i never encountered. one thing to note is that you should be finding loads of the new items on zombies as the distro is currently way too high on zombies. i found some in the containers that they are set to spawn in but not very many. if none of these are the problems, try redownloading the mod. Let me know what happens and ill help as much as possible.

Ok so I got this working enough to at least find the drugs. No guns so far. I noticed that your distributions.lua had every destination set to either sidetables or inventorymale. I plugged in the correct destination for those places you had titled and now stuff seems to be spawning in. I also added a few more places as well. Let me know if you'd like the reworked copy.

i've pretty much quit working on this mod, i might pick it back up at some point but highly unlikely, if you want to you can post the patched version yourself, jsut give me credit where its due.

and if you do decide ive got an old update i was working on but never fixed all the bugs so i didnt release, but it has a good bit of content if you do decide to post your patch for this i can send the stuff i was working on as well.

Ok I've placed the ApocalypsePlus folder into user/Zomboid/mods, overwrote Reloading folder and it displays in the mod manager. I select the mod, get my little check mark, restart and the checkmark is no longer selected. Currently running build 23 on steam

I've figure it out. Ran into the same problem with SprayPaint. Turns out "mod.info" was missing the ID line. Changed to the folder name, no problem, now I can test for function

yea i made this mod for an older version and haven't updated, i tried it with build 23 and my reloading on all my guns would never work, but i haven't looked into yet. been kinda busy with playing multiplayer and ESO lol.

Well I've gotten it working and all the guns seem to reload no problem, my only complaint is that 3 of 5 zombies is dropping way too much gear. I'll probably tweak it at some point to be a lot more rare because I absolutely love what you've added, but as it is now its a bit unbalancing for survival mode and I haven't taken the time to skim through the code yet. Cheers though, the AR-10 is my favorite weapon IRL and you've done it pretty good justice.

i've merged the media folder with my media folder inside the Projectzomboid folder in order to run it on multiplayer, but no items seem to spawn in either single nor multiplayer. did someone get this to work on a server or is it just not working with build 26?

so far i've only tested on sinlgeplayer build 26, i know placing the media folder in the main game folder wouldn't work, the mod's modules are all set to work with the mod loader, to get it to work with the base game where you dont need to turn it on and off you need to merge all the files with main game files. Ex - my item scripts, you would need to copy everything in the text file, and paste it onto the main "items" text file. and you would ahve to do this with almost everything in the mod, some things cant just be copy and pasted tho such as the Distro. If you really wanna test it i can either tell you how to repack it to work, or i can repack it to work and upload somewhere else, if i can get it confirmed working for servers ill add it to this download.

I have infinite ammo for all guns? I'm positive I installed it correctly, is there anything I can do to fix it or is this just how it is for the time being? Aside from that, I love this mod! I laughed so hard when I walked into the bathroom of a house and 2 zombies attacked me, turns out they must have OD'd on all the cocaine they were packing lol Seriously though good work and I hope I can fix my god mode ammo issue :D

only thing i can think of is maybe you didnt do the reloading folder correctly, you need to overwrite the Reloading folder in the game files media>lua>shared>reloading with the reloading folder that's seperate once yu unzip my mod, then install the mod just like any others. i thought i installed correctly one time and didn't and had the unlimited ammo, other than reinstalling im not sure unless you'ew running a different version of the game.

Thanks so much man, turns out i had put the folder into Lua but not in the reloading folder in Shared! So stoked to smoke some joints, rail some yay and go on a legit un-godmode killing spree! lol Will you be updating this for build 27 once it hits? Thanks for the reply btw, I knew I had to have messed up somewhere. If you're ever interested in playing add me on steam, [PMG]Xekyal , I'll bring the bud if you can find some papers :D
